Job Description

Description: Candy / Chocolate factory requires an experienced maintenance / mechanic to join a team of 3

Responsible for repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment such as Vertical form fill seal machine , Extruders, conveyors, L-sealers, pallet wrappers, Chocolate and Candy Production process machinery

Responsibilities:

• Repair of mechanical equipment including pumps, gearboxes, motors, blowers, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Repair of electrical equipment including motors, PLC’s, motor controls, variable speed drives, and all electrical controls.
• Perform all repairs and adjustment of dock doors, pallet racks,

Material handling equipment, pallet wrappers, and electrical

Work in accordance with OSHA standards and preferably have Food Production experience .

• Perform daily inspections of all machinery to ensure that equipment is safe to operate per manufacture standards.
• Analyze and solve electrical/mechanical problems of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform established Preventive Maintenance and identify potential mechanical failures.

Understand and follow all safety programs related to maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
